They are considered low-allergy risk dogs because they have the kind of fur that grows as opposed to sheds. It helps to keep them trimmed and washed.
However, there is no such thing as a “hypo-allergenic dog,” so if your allergies are very severe, dogs may not be right for you :-)

A few weeks ago, I adopted a Miniature Schnauzer, and she quickly became my life! I adore everything about her, from her brown eyes to her old man mustache. She has taught me that Miniature Schnauzers ROCK! F YEAH MINIATURE SCHNAUZERS!
